Tomato Pasta

With a 4 month old at home and a husband who comes home starving from work everyday I am always looking for quick and easy meals. This is one of our go to meals that we have often... I thought I would share it with you.

Tomato Pasta
What you'll need...
  • a package of whole wheat pasta
  • whole container of grape tomatoes
  • minced garlic
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • shredded Parmesan cheese
  •  Kosher salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • red pepper flakes
First put your pasta on to boil according to package directions. While that is cooking cut the grape tomatoes in half


In a skillet heat about a tablespoon of olive oil, then add  a tablespoon of minced garlic and your grape tomatoes. Saute for about 2 minutes.

Once your tomatoes and pasta are done combine them in a large bowl. Add Parmesan cheese (we use a whole 5 oz. container but use as much as you like), salt and pepper to taste, 1/4t. of red pepper flakes, and drizzle with a generous amount of olive oil, and stir.


That is it... it takes about 10min.. and you are ready to eat. Enjoy!
